caLLy – Living Mirrors EP
We are proud to announce Romanian minimal maestro Cally for our upcoming release. Born in Craiova and known for his refined sound, he crafts another exclusive experience with the Living Mirrors EP. A hypnotic two-tracker on laminim, diving deep into the introspective and abstract side of microhouse.
“Living Mirrors”, opens the EP with swirling textures and subtle percussive layers, evoking a hall of reflections where sound and self intertwine.
“Over 70” follows with a more elastic energy. Its warped basslines and tight, fragmented minimal rhythms hint at a playful yet cerebral mood. There’s a vintage flair in its sequencing, reminiscent of the golden era of the Romanian underground, but with a distinctly forward-thinking polish.
Paired with surreal artwork that blurs ancient symbolism and modern absurdism, Living Mirrors EP is both an audio and visual statement, one that captures the evolving essence of microhouse through Cally’s singular lens.
